MTN Nigeria BTS Rollout — FCT & Nasarawa
In partnership with MTN Nigeria, Jude Elswitch Limited executed the civil, mechanical, and electrical works for 24 new Base Transceiver Station (BTS) sites across the Federal Capital Territory and Nasarawa State. The scope included site clearing, foundation and mast erection, generator house construction, cable management, earthing systems, and full BTS equipment installation and commissioning.
Each site was equipped with ABB automatic transfer switches (ATS), deep-cycle battery banks, and precision air-conditioning units to ensure round-the-clock uptime. Our team operated with a strict safety management system endorsed by MTN Nigeria's HSSE department, recording zero lost-time incidents throughout the project.
The rollout significantly improved indoor coverage across Abuja Central Business District, Karu, Nyanya, and key sections of the Abuja–Lafia expressway, bringing connectivity to an estimated 300,000 new subscribers.
