Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Power — Shopping Mall, Abuja
Jude Elswitch Limited was commissioned as the Schneider Electric-certified integrator for the full electrical and power management system of a 65,000 m² regional shopping centre in Abuja. The installation leveraged Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure Power architecture to provide real-time energy monitoring, intelligent load management, and predictive maintenance capabilities.
Our delivery included: 4× Schneider Electric SM6 ring main units at 11 kV; 6× MGE Galaxy UPS systems providing 2 MVA of critical backup power for anchor tenants; entire low-voltage distribution using Schneider PowerPact MCCBs and Acti 9 final distribution boards across 230 retail units; a Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO) SCADA system for centralised monitoring; and a 1.2 MVA diesel standby generation package with ATS.
Energy metering data from 150+ tenants is now delivered in real-time to the mall management dashboard, enabling accurate sub-metering billing and a projected 18% reduction in common-area energy costs.
