ABB Switchgear & MV Panel Installation — Industrial Park, Ogun
Jude Elswitch Limited, as an authorised ABB channel partner in Nigeria, delivered the complete medium-voltage (11 kV) and low-voltage (415 V) switchgear installation for a newly developed export-processing zone in Ogun State. The project involved the supply and installation of eight ABB UniSec medium-voltage switchgear panels, 12 ABB Formula low-voltage distribution boards, and three 1,500 kVA oil-immersed transformers.
Our scope included detailed engineering, equipment procurement, civil modifications to electrical rooms, cable laying (approximately 4.2 km of armoured cable), busbar installation, protective relay settings, commissioning, and pre-energisation testing — all completed in strict compliance with ABB's global installation standards and Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) requirements.
The park now hosts 14 light-manufacturing and agro-processing tenants operating on a stable, metered power supply, directly creating over 800 manufacturing jobs in the state.
